On Monday our model (as fisherman ) stood all day in bright sunshine upon the quayside at Newhaven, when, all at once with the in-coming tide, a fishing boat sped into the harbour aiming straight for our man and unloaded its catch. The (real) fisherman, before taking his leave of us looked up at the sky, shook his head and said,'Its gonna rain...!' and within 3 minutes the heavens had opened. On Tuesday our model (as farmer) mingled with the animals in the byre at Garvald Home Farm, when, at about 3.30, the bull (behind her) roared and bellowed as a line of cattle outside his shed took their turn at being tagged.
